Position: Sr. MRI Coil Analysis/Repair Engineer
Location: Newport News, VA
Salary: 60,000 – 85,000 Annual, based on experience

Description:

The individual will:
 Analyze, design, develop, test, validate and verify and existing products for repair.  Analyze existing designs, reverse engineer, develop product repair improvements, lead troubleshooting and repair activities, develop and/or source solutions such as foaming and plastic replacement, assuming responsibility for timeliness, effectiveness, and quality of all MRI coil repairs assigned. 
Skill Requirements:

Demonstrated knowledge and experiences in:

MRI engineering, experience with Siemens, Philips and/or Toshiba MRI Coils preferred
MRI physics,
MRI antenna hardware  
Strong attention to detail
Ability to extensively document work repairs as per company quality management and ISO requirements
Demonstrate Knowledge and use of Network analyzers, bore simulators and related test hard/software
Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work unassisted on time sensitive repairs
Ability to work in a team-like environment with outside departments
 

Education Requirements:
Advanced degree in Engineering or Physics
